SDHS Parent Connect Foundation
Supporting IB Students and Teachers. Connecting IB Parents.
San Diego High School (SDHS) in downtown San Diego is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School serving students grades 9 through 12.
While the IB Diploma Programme is one of the best college-prep curriculums in the world, it is expensive and not fully funded by the San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD). Additional support is needed to cover the costs of critical items, such as IB teacher training, IB testing fees, IB textbooks, IB workbooks or class supplies.
The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a global leader in international education - developing inquiring, knowledgeable, confident, and caring young people.
Offered as a 2-year program in Junior and Senior Years at SDHS, the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) empowers school-aged students to take ownership in their own learning and help them develop future-ready skills to make a difference and thrive in a world that changes fast.
